Found a waterfall today at sunset in North devon! Bout it really 🤔
Pretty much says it all in the title. Was exploring Bucksmill in north devon with it in mind to surf in winter. Think I prefer other side of the river Taw but then I’m getting a bit spoilt living here. 🤷‍♂️

Who loves water? | Misses the Sea / Ocean |

This is just part of a series of me documenting how amazing and beautiful and in love with water especially the sea I am. I’m super privileged to be able to live right beside it and capture these moments when the light and time and conditions with the wind, et cetera all allow it to show its beauty. I want to bring them to other people for those who might be frustrated and not able to get to th...
Perfect relationship between the oceans / seas & land shown at high tides with a storm & geology

Shows the beautiful relationship between the seas and the lands when high tides combined with a storm across this amazing geology in North devon. Nature showing off in her unmatchable sculpturess skills. Unlimited time, repetition and patience using Dark sands, rocks, winds and swells as her tools. Not ideal for sunbathing though but sure helps me appreciate when the sun does grace us with its ...

Combesgate, we finally get our date and was totally work the wait. Super glassy. Perfect size and lovely vibe in and around the water. Tripped out when got nailed and lost ear plug / mould. Thought 🤷‍♂️ what you gonna do. Paddled for 4-5 strokes and up it just popped. Was a proper tumbler for a while under water too. Also these plugs normally sink. Was really weird and amazing at same time. Jus...

The other day, it was a a beautiful crisp, chilly windy winter day as I drove past Saunton Beach in Devon. I can help but stop I’m so pleased to dare to capture this footage of these wave lines rolling in. as a surfer and massive water lover, it was just hypnotically beautiful. Your love the technology to be able to easily pull a video camera out your pocket and record it so that when I’m an ol...

Well, it’s New Year’s Eve 2023 as the wind roars outside and everyone’s tucked away. Nature definitely has been flexing her muscles again as the ocean roars and pounds Ilfracombe in north devon and the rest of the coastline here in the UK and England. Beautifully humbling and amazing displays of the shear power and energy in nature. #devon #nature #naturephotography #storm #waves #meditation #n...

The beast she sleeps. Chill for a minute at one of Devon’s best surfing beaches
Переглядів 1407 місяців тому
Croyde Beach in North. Devon is definitely one of Devon‘s best surfing beaches. The geology of the beach means that it doubles the power of the waves. Not a secret spot at all as you’ll find it absolutely heaving during those peak periods. Relax for a minute though as the beast sleeps on a cold sunny winters day in December. #Croyde #CroydeBeach. #Surfing #Sun #Devon
Nature & the sea being a moody beastie as she grumbled & flexed her muscles long after the storm.
Переглядів 5517 місяців тому
Nature and the sea sure was a moody beastie today as she fully flexed her muscles in a quiet sulky way. To a background of rumbling thunder and hard rain as every person ducked for covered, or watched in sheltered awe. This is what we expected from the calm storm just gone. But this mood just slipped through unnoticed till now, pounding all of the windows and shutters at night. #nature #devon #...
Nature flexing her beautiful muscles as Storm ciaran rumbles through Ilfracombe in North Devon.

Storm ciaran was forecast and it’s amazing, beautiful and humbling to see nature for ing her muscles and reminding us that we are small and not as significant as we think on the planet. Swept through the south west of England yesterday and looks like we dodged some of the worst according to the media. That’s if it’s all as made out and not hyped up for views and hits. 🤔 #storm #stormciaran #nat...

Nature pounding and sculpting rocks for millions of years before and after I’ve stood here. I love being dwarfed by her beauty and can help but add to part of my library of Water, ocean and the sea for anyone who can’t ever make it to be in the palm of this greatness.

Yeap the weather can be challenging at times. I love the moody changes in it. When I was in Morrocco and sunny all the time I got very little done.

I love the black and white. The simple shapes and free flowing direction. Im 19 now and I've been doing similar doodles for a few years now. I love just shutting the thought process part of my brain off to let the form create itself. This kind of work is amazing to me, it's inspiring to see others who enjoy this too, is there a specific reason you like using black and white so much? For me it's the simplicity and straightforwardness, being able to stop thinking about colour theory that I never learned and let go completely on the shapes and flow in greyscale.

Glad you liked it. Yeah it’s a lovely way to work and is fascinating of where it all comes from. As for the black and white exactly like you said. It avoids the thought process of choosing colours etc. Slows everything down and brake the flow.

I really like the touch of colour in the last few of your works. It adds another dimension and when you target an area it gives us more opportunity to ‘read into’ a bit more. Isn’t that what it is all about........thanks!

@Russell Scott-Skinner Thank You! your art is an inspiration. and it's so fascinating the way artists like you create wonderful pieces of art from their subconscious mind! what a wonder that is. This video helped me further know about the nature of the subconscious mind, its role in art, and also helped me to further comprehend musicians like Sevdaliza and Björk (both are music geniuses, i recommend them if you don't know them already) who also go through the same process as you do with your paintings! Sending you love from Argentina <3

Cheers Gasper And I’m glad it helped. Yep I know both of those musicians and some really good friends of mine are musicians as the creative process is really similar. One comes out visually and one comes out auditory. Good to touch base. Have a good one. 👍🏻
